ASP (Active Server Pages) is an obsolete technology but I still do a lot of work supporting old content management systems built using ASP. To work around its limitations I sometimes create a web service which can take full advantage of ASP.NET capabilities.
Getting ASP to work on a 64 bit Windows Server or IIS 7.0 can be tricky. Many old components were 32 bit DLLs and won't work unless you Enable 32-Bit Applications for the Application Pool. I can help if you need to port an ASP web application to a new server and run into problems.
