Most of my books are on Flash MX though.&nbsp; I worked through creating a simple button that can be clicked to show today&#8217;s date in ActionScript. I also found a way to apply syntax highlighting to ActionScript using my favorite <a href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/syntaxhighlighter\/\"><em>Free syntax highlighter written in Java Script<\/em><\/a><em>. <\/em>I had to find an additional JavaScript file for this language and add a few keywords.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also investigating the Flash 8 Video Encoder which can be used to convert videos in various formats into FLV files.
