I was really glad to get this because the book I am reading <strong>Creating Motion Graphics With After Effects &#8211; Volume 1: The Essentials<\/strong> was written for version 6.5. Because I only had version 6.0 I was unable to open the example projects. I could not try many of the things explained in the book because the features did not exist in the previous version. The boxed version of <strong>Adobe After Effects 6.5 Standard<\/strong> also comes with a DVD of video tutorials.<\/p>\n<p>It may take me an entire year to learn <strong>Adobe After Effects 6.5 Standard<\/strong> because it is a very complex program. However, you can do a lot of very creative and impressive video effects with <strong>Adobe After Effects 6.5 Standard. <\/strong>I am very pleased with the results of my numerous experiments although a lot of video editing programs come with built-in title effects that look about the same as my work. However, they don&#8217;t give you as much control and you can&#8217;t be very creative. I&#8217;ve become very familiar with Windows Movie Maker effects because you see them all the time on YouTube.
